Only two weeks and we will meet in Finland!

The preparations for the visit are very intensive. Tomorrow we are going to have a host family -meeting at school. We will talk about the program etc. Everyone is excited to welcome you!

We know, that you would like to see Finnish winter... Now it seems that the spring is about to begin very early this year. No ice skating or skiing anymore.

Our pupils are waiting for their new friends. The hosts and the guest children have been e-mailing and talking by using skype. This way they feel that they know each other a little bit, before they've even met!

Classes 1C and 2A in the Comenius-project

 

Greetings from Finland!

 

In the photo you can see flags made of coloured ice cubes. The artists behind this wonderful work are classes 1C and 2A from Hiidenvainio school, Rusko Finland. The pupils made the flags of all the six countries involved in our project. We are welcoming our guests to Rusko in March!

 

 

 

Dear visitor,

here you can see some photos of the first visit of our project. It was held in Linz, Austria, on 27.11.-1.12.2013. We had a chance to get to know the austrian school system, to hear interesting information about Austria and its culture, to make music together and to make new friends, both teachers and pupils. There were 2-3 teachers and two pupils from each country, participating the visit. We met new friends from Portugal, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Finland and of course Austria.

Warm thanks to the austrian teachers and host families, who made our visit so warm and successfull!
Next time we will meet in Rusko, Finland, on 12.-16.3.2014.
